Inspired by Arie Luyendyk driving the #30 1990 Dominoes Lola T90/00 Chevrolet, in which he won his first of two Indianapolis 500's.

Auto racing has been part of my life as far back as I can recall. The colors, the smells of smoke, clay mud, burning tires and the unique roar of engines, the chill just hearing, "Gentlemen, start your engines!" every Memorial Day weekend. ~ Bill Homeier, Jr. Name sake of open wheel race car driver, Bill Homeier, Bill, Jr., born in southern California, began driving at the age of five in what was called a quarter midget, fashioned after the modern sprint car. My brother, Carl, years later drove a midget in Arizona and Texas. Both love racing. As a child, he would often draw race cars freehand.
