Package was pretty beat up upon arrival. I can send a separate photo if you’d like to see it? 5 star on the actual picture. 1 star on shipping.

About Michel Verhoef
Photography is a way of expression for me. This was especially when I discovered digital photography and the possibility of being in control of the whole process, from pressing the shutter to printing. Than i also discovered that photography is more than just pressing the shutter; it also shows ones own, more personal, view on the world. There are so many stories that can be told in one image, and to me the best stories are just out there on the street, just waiting to be captured. In my photography I want to strive for a personal style, preferably more than a signature….but a permanent memory of the image in the viewers mind :) My gear: Nikon COPYRIGHT NOTICE © All images in this gallery are the original...

Iconic iphone-Monk makes the common people look so out and behind :)
Michel Verhoef replied:
Yeahhh...they have the wisdom...that's why they're monks I suppose :)
Fei Alexander
Some of the high class Monks can speak foreign languages, some of them are experts of the history, no surprise at all. Ironically we think we know more than them :-x
Michel Verhoef replied:
Thanks Fei...yes they are quite special, in many ways :)

with the same usual brilliance, you capture some moments of tremendous cross-cultural significance........there is enormous socio-political amplitude in your photography Michel...you definitely should consider entering the Pulitzer....

Ha...isn't that not just for books...thanks for your kind comments and suggestion :) Omar
Frank Winters
Wow! The clash of cultures? Or what? Great image with lots going on. The faces, gestures, lots of action and stuff to see. L/F and Featured in Street Photography.
