About Brian Gilbert
Life-long artist having explored a wide range of the artistic landscape. Born with a rare disability, making me short in stature and in a wheelchair (the words 'confined' or 'bound' are so silly). The 80's were still a time when also having an affinity with computers, made you a REAL nerd, and not the current geek-chic b.s, but I invested time knowing that eventually, it would allow me to create the ideas fully without physical limitations. By the early '90's and taking all of 1 computer art class in college at that time, I was given the chance to explore whatever I wanted at the NCSA labs.
