My wild watercolor splashes trailing the colorful race horses and jockeys through a cloud of racing dust simulate the excitement of this horse race.

The Triple Crown of Thoroughbred Racing consists of three races for three-year-old Thoroughbred horses. Winning all three of these horse races is considered the greatest accomplishment of a Thoroughbred racehorse. In the United States, the three races that compose the Triple Crown are: The Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes. In Canada, the triple crown is composed of the Queen's Plate, Prince of Wales Stakes and Breeders' Stakes.
