We are delighted with our purchase! Intend to purchase more of Everett’s beautiful work we wanted to fill a large space in our mountain cabin and this is absolutely perfect. Member of Appalacian Bear Rescue so my heart melts seeing our black bears thrive in the wild.

Very nice image. I'm looking for the best smiling vintage original of Power at a good facial angle. Pinterest has all and won't sell.

Looks really good. Was just wondering where you got the photo from because this red 1955 Cadillac convert is actually my car?

The picture was printed on high quality paper that complemented the gorgeous picture. It was easy to frame and I have gotten several complements on it.

Artist's Description

The voyage of HMS Challenger (1873-76) was first seafaring expedition undertaken solely for scientific purposes. The government funded expedition was designed to fill the gap in knowledge about the deep ocean that existed in the 19th Century. A huge number of marine specimens such as these invertebrate forams were collected, they currently represent a powerful resource in the investigation of historical climate change.

About Natural History Museum, London

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
