This classic American pony car is the 1965 Mustang. The 1st generation Mustang was manufactured from March 1964 until 1973 with the fastback version put on sale in August 1964. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers.
