It seems to me you once had a black & white shot quite similar to this that I liked very much. I like this one just as well, but for different reasons. I love the tawniness of the grassland and how the starkness of the blue, blue sky and white clouds work as a counterpoint to draw you in. Nicely done, Julie! f/v

Thanks Steve! I do have a couple black and whites but not of this image. They are also western landscapes.

Love scenes such as these, wonderful lead in lines and always make you wonder what is on the other side of the hill. Fantastic V and thank you again for your wonderful comment. :)

Thanks John!

Amazing landscape capture Julie. The deep blue sky contrast so nicely with the prairie. Thank you for the description, otherwise I would not known that this is an old wagon trail! V/F

Thanks Mariola!

Thanks Debra and Dave!

Great leading lines with the curved road and the clouds Julie! We Voted! Celebrate life, Debra and Dave

Thank you Carolyn!

Very poetic and beautifully presented. I imagine this country road was well traveled by many pioneers in its day. Such a lovely scene. v

My favorite kind of road, no cars or traffic of any kind. So very pretty, Julie. f/v

Thanks Karen!

I wonder how many journeys have been taken on this old trail! F/V

Thanks Hazel! I imagine not too many!

The sky in this is fantastic! I love this image! f/v

Thank you Daniel! I appreciate that so much.

The forgotten road inspires the imagination V/F/Tweet

Thank you Bob! It could be a scene from 100 years ago in my imagination.
