Thank you Marlene!

I have to repeat myself ... You are such a great artist!!!

Fantastic - vote

Thank you very much Lenore! Yes creativity nourishes the child in us. Adults are a little boring for a child :-)

I do think your description is perfect. We allow ourselves to be turned away from these small miracles by the weight of the cares of everyday life. You said it well, children are generally the ones to see all things as wondrous and beautiful, and you were right that we all, at times, regret the loss of this special "sight". Maybe we should include artists here, too; they see things others pass by.

Carol, I had to start again, made it so very wrong with a word that should not be there. You are quite right Carol, we have different phases in life, where different things are important. Seems you are back to childhood wonder. Thanks for you comment!

Thank you very much Diannah!

Instant vote and fave. I always am attracted to frames within the frame. I cannot possibly say any better what has already been said by so many fine artists and friends. I, too, believe that creation is the key to healing. It allows us to get out of our minds, the danger of living too long in the adult world.

Touches my heart, deeply. Daily life can get so busy sometimes we forget to live it...then something traumatic may happen and bring back into focus what and who is really important in our lives. Life is precious and short. Your work is beautiful and inspiring. V/F

Your description is a good one, Gun. As a youngster, nothing escaped my notice - not the leaves, streams, bugs, snakes, rocks - nothing was too small to love and get excited about. Then came the teen years, boys, angst, school, all that awful stuff, and I didn't bend over to pick up that lovely leaf anymore or admire the crane fly on the screen. When our son was tiny, everything was a miracle to him - his delight in his world reopened our eyes. Then, as he grew up, we again got sidetracked by daily life - the rushing to work, rushing home, news, weather, finances, name it and it intruded on the wonder of the world around us. I retired, bought a simple camera and - miracle of miracles - it turns out I also got a new set of eyes. Perhaps we need to constantly find challenges that produce wonder in the results - new things to explore, new visions. Change can be good! You've done an extraordinary job with this image:>) V/F

Fantastic! Looks exactly how it was described. We will order more!

When I recieved my email, it said the image size was 21.250” by 30”, but when it arrived, it was only 17.5” by 14”. I paid $60 for my print to be way too small, and didn’t fit in the frame that SHOULD have been perfect. I will never order anything from here again. (I love the poster, and Flatbush zombies).

I always loved this pattern and how it creates an even larger meta pattern that is mesmerizing to look at. You did an amazing job on line work and parallel spacing, and as a CZT, I wanted to feature this pattern on my wall to inspire students and give them confidence that they can also create something similar.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS in red, (expensive taste, huh!) is my son's favorite car. This was a gift for his tenth birthday. He placed it on his bookshelf next to his computer, where it can be seen from his bed and desk. Once received, I was somewhat skeptical of my chosen size. But, with a frame I painted red to match the car, it turned out great. The quality of the print is awesome! Thank you!

Artist's Description

Now, in higher age, I would like to experience the joy of life that little children have. Of course I have it many times, but not constantly. You know, that curiosity of every little stone and insect. Now I feel I just name them, this is an ant, that is a spider in it's net, not really SEEING them. Does anyone feel the same?

About Gun Legler

I live in Sweden in a little village near Gothenburg. When I was 40 I left my job as a child psychologist and teacher, and went to art school where I learned graphic art (etchings and such) for four years. Besides that I have worked much with textile collages and watercolor collages. After buying my first computer twenty years ago, I more and more concentrated on digital art. Now the computer takes all my time . I have no education in computer art. I am self-taught. I work in PaintShopPro and sometimes Photoshop. I work mostly from photos, my own and others. Textures are very important for me. I think my love for working with textiles has given birth to that love. With my images I try to evoke an emotional response in the viewer. I try to...
