This was a gift for a Vermont native. She had been to this sight and was very happy. I did an acrylic painting for her as well. I am not a trained artist, extremely amateur, but she was quite touched by the personal touch.

I was on a backpacking trip when I came across this field of flowers along the trail. It was a wet year in Colorado, and everything was green, green, GREEN. We were on the Fourth of July trail, and it was the Fourth of July weekend! Mount Neva can be see in the background.
Anne Gifford is an award winning artist and the eight time poster artist for Colorado's Bolder Boulder 10K Memorial Day Race, one of the largest road races in the United States. She began her career as a silkscreen artist. After 25 years of printmaking, Anne now works with watercolor, building successive layers of color to create her vibrant, rich, and detailed paintings.
