A foxglove in my garden after rain.

I have lived all my life on the California coast, growing up in San Diego County, then moving to Santa Cruz, where I have lived since 1970. When I'm not at work as a landscape gardener, I sling my camera pack over my shoulder and go searching for what nature is bringing me today. Among my favorite subjects are ocean waves, flowers, sunsets, and waterbirds. I always have an eye out for reflections bouncing off water and glass, which can transform the reflected scene into an abstraction.
