Foxgloves are beloved of gardeners who like the "old-fashioned" cottage gardens. These are almost 100% deer-proof, can be irritating to sensitive skin, should NOT be eaten, and reseed like mad! I love them, but it is a chore to keep them in check. They grow in just about any situation - sun or shade, acid soil or more base, rich loam or waste areas.
