This looks gorgeous printed on wood. It is now hanging on my therapy office wall and is perfect. The color is true to the photo. I love it.

Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Artist's Description
I once lived and worked in New Orleans. My job was actually located right in the French Quarter on Rampart Street. On weekends, I'd spend all day walking the streets and taking pictures. It was an endless supply of photo ops everytime. The city is rich with mood and mystery which converts to black and white so easily. On this particular day in winter - as the deep late afternoon shadows began to dip heavily along the narrow streets of the French Quarter, I captured this image. I loved the deep shadow lines that were slowly sinking down on the buildings and sidewalks everywhere. It wasn't until later - when I examined more closely the images that I had captured that day - that I discovered the partial shadow of an individual approaching the image from the left. This tiny piece of human shadow adds to much to the mood and mystery of the photograph. Almost ghostly and ethereal. I hope you like it, too. I call it "French Quarter Shadows".
