Because of its relatively low elevation snow actually doesn't fall in Yosemite in large quantities very often, perhaps only a few times a year during a good winter. Because of this I spend many years waiting for perfect conditions to find fresh snow and colorful skies. I'm a nature and landscape photographer working out of the Central Valley of California. The area is an ideal place to live and work as I'm less than two hours from both the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains and the wonders of the Big Sur Coast, the two of which are major focus' of my work.
