Paula Ayers replied:

Hi Chrisann, thanks so much for featuring this in the group, "Weekly Fun for all Mediums".

Love this version of Frida's enduring image, Paula! I enjoy what may come up in composing such a piece and this certainly is special with your digitally mastered works as the tiles. I viewed your entry page at 'Simply the Best 2'. Congratulations on being among such talented fellow artists and being chosen! Some of the works shown there were immediately familiar, so I know the feeling is good when the challenge is excellent. Enjoy! ~Adriana V/F, G+1

Paula Ayers replied:

Adriana, thanks so much for commenting here and for visiting my pieces in "Simply the Best 2". I was honored when they saw my work here on FAA and asked me to send them some pieces. I'm hoping that I get a tiny bit of the exhibiting artists' talent by some form of visual osmosis, because there were many truly awesome pieces on exhibit. Thanks again for this very nice comment!!

I am in love with "My Tropical Kitchen" purse. I also am deeply dissatisfied however, that there is no mention of Jade Moon's name on the product. Her work is more than worthy of her name to be associated with her beautiful products. People constantly mention that my purse is beautiful as I display it on a counter at a point of sale. I have to tell them whose work it is. Everyone recognizes her name. Jade Moon deserves recognition for her talent as an artist; her name should be on the product. PX Pixels is meaningless to me. I wish it wasn't sewed in to the seam. I am so proud of my "My Tropical Kitchen" purse. I bought it for myself on my 80th birthday. I would be thrilled if Jade could autograph it for me. I am sorry I have no means to take or send a photo.

About Paula Ayers

Paula Ayers

I am Paula, the singing nurse. I spent most of my working days as a nurse while singing classical/opera on the side. But during my "on the side" life, my crafting took hold. Thinking I would be the Bob Ross of my day I tried oil paints but just never had the space they required. I then decided to try watercolours and soon fell in love with the intrigue of a paint that often did what it wanted and not what was expected. I call myself a "dibber and dabber" of paint and enjoy every second of that dibbing and dabbing. In 2012 I basically "discovered" digital art. When I first took a watercolor and enhanced and played with effects on it, I fell in love with the new possibilities of digital art. I have been experimenting with it ever...
