Thank you very much, Melany. I had just finished watching the Trilogy a couple of days before I went up the mountain for the shoot, so Tolkien was still pretty much in the front of my mind that day. I kept waiting for a Black Rider to come around the corner at the other end.

I love the title! I can feel the suspense as the Hobbits run from the black riders! "Get off the bridge -- NOW!" +1Vote

This is a great art work. It is fun to see your photo on canvas, and to print them here for art shows.

I am extremely happy with the quality of the CLARITY of the print!! The tube it arrived in guaranteed no damage could harm it. And yes, the print did arrive far sooner than anticipated .... I am genuinely satisfied and impressed.

Just arrived two days ago, and I took it to be framed. The image is a bit fuzzy in parts like the trees in the foreground but still a beautiful shot of the foothills in autumn. Nevada is gorgeous in autumn. Nice pic. Just got back from framer. It is beautiful.

Arrived yesterday and took to be framed. I used to live on Beacon Hill in Boston just uphill from Acorn Street. This piece is beautiful and brings back memories. Now framed. Love it.

About Michael Courtney

I've been into photography for over 40 years. I started out doing some photos for my high school paper. I was the photo editor for my college newspaper. I bought my first SLR camera when I was in the military and tried to make the most of what I had when stationed in Germany. I came back home and realized the photo opportunities that abounded in the San Francisco Bay Area and in California. I've really appreciated the convenience of digital photography and it's kept me photographically involved. I got my first digital camera in 2003 and it opened up a whole new world for me. Purchased my first DSLR in 2006 and there's been no looking back. I hope you like my photos. Comments and critiques are ALWAYS...
