This beautiful butterfly, part of the Heliconius or longwing family, captured from above and with the orange part of its wings directly over the orange blossoms it was feeding on, almost looks to be one with them. The rich green of the background, on which spots of light and the subtle shapes of leaves dance, complements the warm colors of the insect and flowers.
