"Full Box of Crayons"by Debra and Dave Vanderlaan......Taking a boat from Fontana Dam over to the landing where we started our hike to the ghost town of Proctor. The town had been flooded when the dam was built and the houses are now under the newly formed lake. There are a few cottages that remain visible above water along with several graveyards and makes for an interesting exploration. This image was taken on Hazel Creek along the way, showing full autumn color reflected in the clear fresh water of The Great Smoky Mountains National Park, very close to the tri-state borders of Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.
