Description
A realistic portrait of my nephew at 5 months old sporting a mowhawk comprised of what little hair he's got, crinkling his nose and making a funny face, amusing himself. Jack is quite the character and he knows it! He thinks he's hilarious and, naturally, I agree. A hammy baby, he's a one man show! And he's got lots of different faces. I can't help but smile and go to mush over this one.

Graphite on Bristol board 9x12in.

Sarah, while I, like most of your fellow artists, love your Colour Pencil Artwork, I wonder how many see the disciplined foundational work behind Colour? In serious art study, there were many required Types of drawing classes before turning to paint because realism and accuracy of things like scale, tone, perspective, reflection, shadow, etc. demanded knowledge OF them before one could release the essence of a thing. I think that is why the soul comes thru ALL of your work and I SEE and love your renderings ALL-MAGNIFICENT!- LF
