This fine painting of the Tree of Life or ”Yggdrasil” as it is known in the old Nordic mythology - we live in the nordic part of Europe, in Sweden. When you look at this painting, many thougts comes to your mind.

When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it. Since it wasn't available in apparel or greeting card format, I bought it as a poster and bought a frame so I could hang it in my room. I had to crop the white border by hand, though. Easier said than done, believe me. But the results are worth it. Rarely have I seen such a splendid combination of innocence and female beauty.

Unfortunately this artwork remains rolled in the tube. The 36 x 35 enlargement I ordered had lost clarity and was too blurred to spend money on framing. It's a lovely piece - but stick with smaller sizes to retain clarity of original work.

Artist's Description

Hundreds of thousands of Gannets can be found on the cliffs. From afar, it looks as if the cliffs are spotted white in colour. Gannets can dive-bomb from 30 meters in the air to catch their fish. They can go up to 100 kilometers per hour when they are dive-bombing into the ocean. It is amazing to sit in the cliffs and watch them come and go
