Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Early spring offered a new range of options for capturing the great landmarks in Ricketts Glen. The parks famous hemlocks, conifers and pines display their greenery year-round, but all of the deciduous trees here were still leafless. Before the bare trees had gotten their seasonal green plumage, there was an opportunity to find a different angle for capturing the majestic glory of Ganoga Falls. From mid spring through late autumn, this view of the waterfall would have been mostly hidden, beautifully obscured, yes
but obscured none-the-less. It was a wonderful sight from high on the ridge. Even from this lofty perch, the thundering roar of the waterfall was extremely loud, as it echoed throughout the gorge.
Ganoga Falls is the fourth listed waterfall from the top of the gorge in Ricketts Glen.
This photograph was taken Monday morning, April 25th of 2011, with a Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L lens on a Canon EOS 10D DSLR body. The aperture was f/11 with a shutter speed 1/2 sec...

Photography has been an integral part of my life since the mid 1960's. Capturing the beauty and complexity of nature is my main interest, from macro close-ups to wide vistas views ...and everything in between. Natural waterfalls are the most frequent photographic subjects found at the business end of my lens. Historic Covered Bridges and farmland scenes are also very close to my heart, but any visually interesting...
