First of all I love the photograph but I was a little disappointed with the clarity of the print onto the duvet cover- was a little blurry. Also fine art america needs to add more ties on the inside of the cover- there is only one at each corner and my blanket tends to bunch up at the ends. Even my blanket has 12 ties to tie to the cover. I feel that fine art america really dropped the ball on that. Their ties for crying out loud- only 4? Other than that I was pretty satisfied overall but would probably not spend this much on a duvet cover ever again especially with fine art america' s flaws. Like I said overall pretty satisfied but expected more in quality for the price.
What a perfect decoration for this garden arrangement; a Song Sparrow.
It all started with those boxes of crayons, before ever starting school. I was raised in Palmyra, Pa. my first 18 years. Soon, in my young adult years, spent 5 years in the Cincinnati area, where I won my first art show; that was the confidence I really needed. A few months later, I sold a drawing, reinforcing that this was my direction. Later, I spent 14 years in Florida, which was a neat experience. As much as I love the everglades and it's wonderful wildlife; I missed the mountains, woodlands and the more distinct change of seasons. So, I re-located back to Pa. in 1990. I moved to Oregon, 15 months ago, and I am in love with this state. Every state has something to offer. Pa is charming, but Oregon is spectacular! At this...

Thank you, Gerald. my neighbor has an alcove near my rock garden; which allows me to set up a 3-sided bird-blind. They can see me, but I am not as noticeable there. So I pretty much just keep my tri-pod parked there. I go there at least 2 to3 times a day, for my coffee breaks. I have even sort of camped out there to get good images of new arrivals. I even got hummingbirds in sleet and snow. I am somewhat retired from the system; so I make the time to try and shoot every day. And occasionally, I get to go to other sanctuaries; field trips. etc. About the rock garden: I put out 7 to 10 different feeding places and water, some cover; a sort of fun little habitat. It seems whenever I go on these trips, I am somewhat disappointed; because I usually see more in my yard. Although I did see Mountain Bluebirds on one of my hikes up a mountain, Mary's Peak. Didn't get any good pictures there. lol In essence . . . feed them! Keep shooting and develop an eye for composition. I always say to myself when looking through the lens: would that look good framed.

Beautiful shot. How do you get such great shots of these birds?
