This rose garden watercolor painting was commissioned. The owners of this beautiful country garden in Ontario wanted a year-round reminder, particularly during the cold winter months of their fantastic garden. The inviting garden path winds through a shady section around a bed of fucshia red Astilbes and curves past an impressive showing of colorful Hostas before it passes in a sunny area under two arbors covered with red climbing roses. The path takes a turn at some golden yellow lilies and winds in the distance past a lake leading to a gazebo. Blue Spruce, crab apple and various other spring blossoming trees complete the picture.
