Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

I wanted a photo that showed what a beast these things are, and this one really shows it.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

Thanks Alice. Yes, somewhere in Eastern Oregon, but I can't recall the specific place. It might have been north of bend, but not sure. Eastern Oregon has so much to photograph!!

Hello Jeff, The best part about getting comments on one's work is being able to then look up the artist who gave the comment and see some pretty incredible art.Apart from having learned from you about fused photography and putting slides into the bio, you've given me the opportunity to experience (yes, that's the right word) your art because I can't leave it at simply photography... it's a whole new way of creating. I love your work!

Jeff, I can see an old codger sittin' there offering tobacco juice to the wind, in a day gone by. This photograph reminds me of filling stations I have seen in my travels through small towns on Route 58 before the interstates sprang up. Shine on Jeff, aew
