One of my favorite smaller towns in Germany is the beautiful town of Quedlinburg. Fortunately the lovely historic district survived World War 2 without much damage. Many of the half timbered houses this city is famous for have been preserved with a lot of love and care.
Quedlinburg is located north of the Harz mountains, in the west of the state Saxony-Anhalt, Germany.

I am addicted to photography. I love being out in nature always looking for the "perfect" shot. Of course "perfection" is very subjective. Photography had taught me to see beauty in the most unlikely places such as a dilapidated barn or a rusty nail in a fence. Waterfalls are one of my favorite subjects to shoot. The running water fascinates me, and I think that falls are soothing and beautiful wonders of nature.
