Photographic artwork by Cindy Treger. Photographed at the Gettysburg Battlefield in Gettysburg, PA. John Burns a citizen of Gettysburg, who was almost 70 years of age, picked up his musket to help fight against the Confederate Army that was advancing on Gettysburg. He fought with the 150th Pennsylvania Iron Brigade and was wounded three times. He because a local celebrity after the battle.
