This is 1 of about 10 or 12 Friesian Mares that were brought to a pasture next to my house... We think there's 4 that are preg.... 1 that's about a year old, several mare's that are elderly, but the one thing that stood out was that they were all starving. It brought tears to my eyes. They have been there about 6 weeks now, and are gaining weight quite nicely. We pray that the owners will have everything under control this fall when they all go back home.

These horses are breath taking, you captured her emotion. You can see the pain in her eyes from her neglected past. Great Job Mother! :)

This is very haunting to me. I like the photograph. It evokes emotion. The textures are very well done and colors. For me the eye is the draw. V/f

These horses are so enchanting and beautiful... but the ones next door are on the mend from starving, I think that's why my post work went that direction... Thank you for the comment and v/f!
