Description
Ginger Memories:
Golden ginger bloomed
There beside a pali stream
Fragrance filled the air
As I wove them in your hair
Once again I feel rapture steal
Through my sad and lonely heart
Though you're gone from me
Ginger memories remain.
--- Edna Bekeart
Deep in a lush Hawaiian rain forest where the streams flow freely from the mountain cliffs, the white and golden ginger blooms in tropical paradise.

One of my very favorite gingers Jane! They like like tiny swirls of icing or ice cream cones. Aloha plenty!

Well! How delightfully beautiful this is, Jane. A lovely poem to reveal the loveliness of your artwork. Always a pleasure to the senses. My first exposure to these gorgeous flowers. Has made quite an impression, "love at first sight!" LF Big hugs from your artBUDette, Janet
J Marielle replied:
Oh, Dear Janet! These heavenly flowers are a delight. The tropical rain forests along the road to Hana on Maui are full of these beauties. You can smell them for miles around. I think I am quite homesick for the flowers of the islands -- they seem to have been calling to me for several weeks now! LOL. Thank you SO MUCH again, my dear friend. Your beautiful words mean more to me than you could possibly know. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
