This fine painting of the Tree of Life or ”Yggdrasil” as it is known in the old Nordic mythology - we live in the nordic part of Europe, in Sweden. When you look at this painting, many thougts comes to your mind.

We very much enjoy this wonderful painting of Eric Clapton, as we are fans of the talanted artist.

When I saw this image, I knew I had to have it. Since it wasn't available in apparel or greeting card format, I bought it as a poster and bought a frame so I could hang it in my room. I had to crop the white border by hand, though. Easier said than done, believe me. But the results are worth it. Rarely have I seen such a splendid combination of innocence and female beauty.

Unfortunately this artwork remains rolled in the tube. The 36 x 35 enlargement I ordered had lost clarity and was too blurred to spend money on framing. It's a lovely piece - but stick with smaller sizes to retain clarity of original work.

Very happy with my selections and this artist, Matej Prasek

Artist's Description

1st Prize Drawing - Hewes Library Student Art Show - Monmouth College; Judge: Dr. Harlow Blum. The title explains what the artwork is about, to the extent that is subjective to the viewer. We have all experiences a moment in our lives where we are just ready to give up. This is my depiction of that inspired by a song I heard. This piece is very special to me and I would appreciate it if the original found a great home. If not, then prints are available. I used Cont Crayon to make this piece, and it took approximately 10 days to complete.
