The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Glacier-carved Mountainside, Alaska. In this dramatic vertical composition, sheer and barren glacier-carved mountainsides plunge to the valley below, seen through mist and clouds which concentrate with distance and shroud a more distant peak, lending a greater sense of depth to the scene. The lighting is diffuse, the atmosphere highlighting features on the wet rocks. The clouds lend a sense of altitude to the vista. Glaciers, great sheets of moving ice, carve out characteristic U-shaped valleys (sometimes called glacial valleys), sculpt glacial mountains, and melt forming glacial waterfalls. This shot is from Endicott Arm Fjord, near Dawes Glacier, located at the end of a glacier-carved fjord off of the Stephens Passage seaway in southern Alaska. It is not far from Sawyer Glacier and Mendenhall Glacier. Cruise ships often visit Dawes and Sawyer Glaciers, sailing up to within about a quarter of a mile of the glacier face in the deep waters of the fjords. Look also for my many...
