Stunning! I love the light coming through the glass and your fabulous colors and brush strokes! LFP

'Gleaning Light Nasturtium' shows your strong use of color, values and temperature. The composition is strong. Your technique exhibits professional use of texture and color placement. I see Ana Marie Edulescu has given you a much mmore brief compliment, however when Edelescu pays a compliment it is a compliment.

You've achieved a lovely pearlescent, light-filled look with the glass. Congrats on your sale! L

Love the energy in this piece and the light.

Talya Johnson replied:

Thank you Synnove!

Tayla, your loose style exhibits a freedom and brilliance especially with the glass that makes you stand out.

Oh wow, this is what makes painting exciting, love this painting:)

Gorgeous! Love your work Talya!

Tayla, this is one of themost successful paintings of glass I have seen. The glass looks like glass. The radiance glows as radiance. The blend of colors still say, "Glass!". Now for the flowers. Your flowers are brilliant. Even so, they don't overpower the glass or other areas in your painting. In my opinion this painting is among the most successful paintings of impressionism I've seen.

Talya, I am so impressed by how much light you have created in this painting. I have viewed it many times on the Florals features page and was not aware it is an oil (don't know what I thought, sorry). But to create light like this with oils I admire this. v/f
