Description
A gnarled juniper on the Grand Canyon's South Rim allows the viewer to look through and around the branches of this mostly dead tree. Some people stand back at the metal fence to view the canyon. But like most people I observed, they like to walk down the path where there is no fence and stand literally on the edge of the canyon to view the sunset colors on the Messas and Buttes that seperate the South rim from the North rim. Somewhere at the bottom lies the Colorado River.
