This painting makes me happy!! The colors are really fun and, like his other pieces I own, expertly painted. I want to live in this cottage and walk into the ocean. Ordered it on canvas - well executed. Thank you for the smiles!

Interesting compilations here Marlene, nice work! v/f
Marlene Burns replied:
Thank you so much, Donna! Hexitychs are tough to pull off but my subjects had one important thing in common...all of them are old posts in the town that wouldn't die!
Natalie Holland
Very nice image, Marlene!
Marlene Burns replied:
thanks so much, natalie! a reminder of a wonderful trip!

I'm sure glad you posted this Marlene!! I love this hexitych, only a person of your artistic wisdom and talent could pull this off as well as you have. Every square inch of this is perfect, I like the primaries in the center against the dark area, the balance of the vegetation with the spoke shadows, I could go on but I'm going to run out of aether ink. Beautiful!!
Marlene Burns replied:
you are most kind, cliff...i struggled with this compilation but the subjects were too good to give up on!
James VerDoorn
and each a striking image in it's own right
Marlene Burns replied:
thank you, jim! the compilations are far more difficult to stage than the actual parts of the whole.
