Jane Small replied:

Hello Ed,I do move my paintings around so maybe that is why you didn't find it before. So happy you like the accompanying story to this! Thanks so much!

Hi Jane, this is so magical sweetheart....I am sure I must have visited this peaceful and beautiful location when I was in the hospital during my ruptured brain aneurysm - if it wasn't here it was certainly very close by...this is a perfect interpretation of what near death was like for me and it was very hard to come back....some day I will find out why I was brought back to this life - for now I am still searching for the know how much I enjoy your phenomenal artworks and the impact they have on are truly a Master of your craft my friend - thinking of you!!! jd

Jane Small replied:

Joyce, hugs and thanks so much for your insightful words that are so meaningful following your own direct experience. The questions seem never ending and lead only to an eternal and loving Mystery so it seems! J.

Jane, I sit here in wonder looking at the ethereal beauty of your painting and imagine that this must be what it looks like on the "other side," or at least what it must feel like. These incredible paintings of yours truly touch my heart, and I love your description! Absolutely Gorgeous work!! F/V

Jane Small replied:

Donna,so happy you found this beeswax painting. Thank you for your nice comment!

I could have written my comment on any of your wonderful paintings, Jane,...what I noticed, when looking through your gallery was your sense of order, your sense of symmetry, you organized your whole gallery! You managed to find for almost every painting with specific colours on the left side a corresponding one, with similar colours or atmosphere on the right side. Of course do I know that many of your wonderful beeswax paintings are symmetrically painted, but that you would transfer this symmetrical order, this kind of balance to your whole gallery, ...that was a new perception of mine.. We know, that our paintings are part of our soul,..part of our personality..that is why I think, symmetry or better balance may be an important part of your life! When you look at my paintings, you will recognize, that my "balance" is miles away from yours. That is surely another point, I have to admire you and your painings,... v/f Almo

Jane Small replied:

Almo,I wrote you a note at the time you wrote this, but forgot to add something here.Your observation is quite correct.I do like everything balanced. Maybe I'm true to my birthsign,Libra (the scales!) I think we agreed once that I am a mouse and you are an elephant ! Both ways needed. If I got too ordered,I could learn from your exuberant spontaneity ! Thank you so much for your interesting and lovely comment.

So very lovely and I love your colors. V/F

Jane Small replied:

Thank you so much Phyllis!

I think this painting stands for many of yours in your wonderful gallery, you posted for all of us. Most of your descriptions are cryptic or mystical, not in this case. Probably nobody of us has suffered experiences which give us the power and the confidence to paint artwork like this, to say nothing of your fantastic skills and feelings, we find in your paintings. We thankfully descry that you let us take part in all these wonders, you underwent,.. see them with your eyes, .though unworthy, to comment them...v/f Almo

Jane Small replied:

I keep returning to your comment ,and don't know what to say! I think what I want to say is that,if there was no one to look deeply into my pictures, there would be no point painting them. And for just one person to "see" as you do, makes it so worthwhile. I see so much beauty and light, colour and energy in your paintings, and I often feel that my words fail hopelessly to describe what I'm seeing. This painting has much more of a semi-abstract effect than most of my works and I'm really very happy that it speaks to you. Thank you so much Almo.

Jane,This is a beauty and the words made me cry. This is special to me.Love how the colors whip across.Love the Tree of life and death, but you are looking at the light.Wonderful Art and Poetry. Thanks for comment ! Hugs,Marsha FV
