This image was taken just a few miles west of Walden, Colorado. There is a big valley just to the west, as you can see here. The photo's were taken from the high hills at the north end of the valley. The drive is on a pretty good dirt road. Early morning or late afternoon is really the best time to do this. I will be back there this spring or summer when everything is green.
