"Golden Farm Scene Sketch" is a colorful, autumn look at a mountain farm scene. I put this one up for the original because I didn't have a good enough photograph of the sold work. Also, the final version didn't deviate that much from the sketch. I will now have both in my portfolio. I am fascinated with the interplay of warm and cool colors in the mountains and I especially like the golden light in this work. The painting is on canvas panel and is in a solid wood molded frame. The surface is smooth with the slightest touch of impasto.
