Dear Karen. This painting is just lovely! I think the time of day and the quietness is shown in the reflections laying on the still waters. It is getting toward dusk and the shadows are becoming more deep and dense. The light is fading to that glorious moment of grandeur of lighting the scenery on fire. Well done! Love it! L/f
