About Sarah King
Artist Statement: Sarah King Glass Gallery http://fineartamerica.com/profiles/ The beautiful 'Gondwanaland' fauna and flora in the 'Tasmanian Rainforest' has highlighted its perilously fragile future. I am concerned about the loss of indigenous species and biodiversity due to human intervention and the onslaught of Government and Industries. All small invertebrates such as mayflies and butterflies of the Gondwanaland rainforest have survived here, for more than 65,000,000 years. I believe the past event, over the last 200 years, is the climax of global warming due to our lifestyles and land uses. Hi Sarah. No, I voted for you here on the FAA. You can see how many votes that you got under the photo itself. I remember that you had a few votes here already. I havent heard about the Times Square Artist wanted! I was really pleased to find another artist painting/drawing the shrinking beauty of the threatened Australian Bush. I paint/draw the beauty of the shrinking wetlands, myself. And would be really pleased if you had a look at my art work.
Sarah King
Thx Helen, where did you vote? lol? was it in the Times Square Artist Wanted you found me? I want to do more paintings like this. it makes me feel better that I try to express the loss of these beautiful Places due to the forest industries take over destroying all that they can.

Love this brooding dreamtime print. Really conveys to me the sense of awe & magnificence of the soul of these huge living beings: the rainforest trees living for thousands of years. A real sense of the eternal bush here. Voted!
