About Valerie Loop
Valerie's interest in photography began as a young child looking through copies of Arizona Highways magazine in the doctor's office in Olympia, Washington. Thank you Charles. I like zooming in on features of the Grand Canyon instead of always using the expected wide angle view.

An awesome find and awesome composition. I love it, Valerie. I am pleased to be able to feature it in the Grand Canyon National Park Group. It is really intriguing to study this photo to note the intricate geological features, and the large number of plants that are visible "clinging" to the rocks in such a small ecosystem. A favorite.
