Great canvas and framing. A decent shipping time, and EXCEPTIONAL safe packaging. Just an appropriate image for my viewing/listening room. Just took the speaker grills off for this photo.

I purchased this picture for my new home in Las Vegas and it fits perfectly. Love the view of Frenchman Mountain from a different angle. Highly recommended.

Artist's Description
An acrylic painting of the view from Yaki Point on masonite, then digitally enhanced in Lightroom. The advantage of painting on Masonite is that it is more durable than canvas. Unlikely to ever be damaged by being punctured, etc. It also is a much smoother surface, so the image can be sharper than on the uneven surface of canvas.

There are many viewpoints from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon on the Arizona side or south rim. Some are reached from the South entrance, others on the west side in the Navajo Reservation. Some of our favorite view points are, from anywhere along Hermit Road to Hermit Rest, like pima, mariopa, hopi, or views from various areas and Yaki which can only be accessed by bus.
......
Then there are the major viewpoints like Mather, and Yavapai, which are must see locations. Probably at least 90% of visitors go there so they can be crowded
......
Less crowded locations, with fantastic views are Guano, Lapin, Moron, Navajo, and D...

You're at the top of the world, you must have done a lot of hiking? Wonderful panoramic Bob~ FV
Bob and Nadine Johnston replied:
My Longest Hike, was from Pusan Korea, to eight miles from the Yalu River, and back to the 38th Parallel. Though the news always talks about the Marines, they were 35 miles from the river. ;)

Absolutely beutiful and amazing!
Bob and Nadine Johnston replied:
Takes a lot of work, but its worth it... My satisfaction comes a lot more from painting, than selling work. Give a lot of work to charities like the Salvation Army drives, and Animal Rescue fund raising.
Bob and Nadine Johnston replied:
Yep, we have been a member of the Salvation Army since 1955. Many do not know it is a church first, and charitable orgn second, that the majority of the budget comes from donations from the members of the church and the Kettles, only 10% comes from United Way.... We donated 100% of income from sales of paintings during the first year after Katrina. Sold several each week on EBay, because people saw the 100% which went directly from them, to the Salvation Army through the EBay program which supports charities. When you do that, EBay also donated all they would normally charge for fees, so it increases the donation...
