I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

About Elzbieta Zemaitis
This site is to honor my grandfather and my Lithuanian roots. My grandfather held me as an infant when we visited Hazleton, Pennsylvania. I never saw him again. In my avid search for roots I could find my mother's German heritage back to the 1600s - Wagner, Feigt, Haase, Prahl, Keil and a dozen more - but nothing for Jamackl Finally a distant relative in New Jersey - an old woman in a nursing home - wrote me telling me that she knew my Aunt Margaret. My original name was Zemaitis. I cried when I received her letter. My father gave me a set of oil paints when I turned ten although we barely had money for food. Decades later - ...

Thank you, Lenore. I've not been on here for some time and missed this nice comment. I'm hoping to get back to some art and may even post to the social commentary which I think you renamed. That would likely be under my married name since all of these are more life experience rather than overt commentary. Again, I especially like that you have done a pin for me.

Thank you. I think I know exactly what you mean. I like your word 'raw'...I once walked into an national exhibit where I had a piece on display and said, "Gee, mine seems to be so crude next to some of this." I am satisfied with my work and get pleasure from it especially this series, but I do understand that it is not as sophisticated and 'refined' as most people like. You are right, too, that the same could be said of some of our most beloved (dead) artists. We will do what we do best...be ourselves, Johanne. Cheers and thanks.

Elzbieta. I just love your paintings, so reminescent of family stories and childhood memories. And thanks for your appreciation of my painting "A grey day".
Elzbieta Zemaitis replied:
Thank you, Rochelle. Family and childhood memories indeed did light and fuel this whole series of small works.
