The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

"Grandma's Old Country Porch, is an original oil painting by Janis Tafoya. The old country porch was a place where people would gather to chat over a cool glass of lemonade. It's was a gathering place in days of old, when friends and neighbors would spend time discussing happenings in their communities. Before tv and video cames, there was more face to face communication. The old country porches were often very large, almost an extension of the house.
Grandpa might sit on the porch and whittle and Grandma might sit and
knit and at the same time teaching the grndchildren how to whittle and knit.
It was a close time for families and was a strengthening of the families,
a strengthening of bonds between generations of family members.
