Diane Marcotte
Spectacular shot Doris! Their legs are so long that I can't imagine how they bend down to take a bath. Do you think the water was deep enough that it came up to his body?
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Diane. That's a good question. I never thought about it and now I am wondering. I think the water was deep and I guess he was standing the whole time. I guess it will remain a mystery.
Betty LaRue
Oh, Doris, this is fantastic! What a wonderful capture, and the water droplets and reflections are amazing! Absolutely gorgeous! v/f
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks so much Betty. I was so excited when I saw him bathing. It was quite a commotion that he made!
Robert Alter
Nice one Doris! And the color and smoothness of the water provide great context.
Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Robert!

Doris Potter replied:
Thanks Kathy. I think we have a psychic connection! Yes, I guess it takes a big heron like this quite awhile to feel clean.
