Artwork was a gift. So grateful it arrived in time for Christmas. The piece was given to a loyal Eddie Van Halen fan. There were quite a few finishes/sizes to choose from. I purchased the wood finish because of the rustic look. The photo transferred perfectly. What a honor to proudly display this piece. Will forever be reminded what EVH contributed to rock and how grateful we are to him for sharing his love of music with us. 🤘

This portrait comes from Rick's pen & ink illustration series titled "Visual Activism". It was inspired by this message from 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg; "Adults keep saying,' We owe it to the young people to give them hope'. But I don't want your hope. I don't want you to be hopeful. I want you to panic. I want you to feel the fear I feel everyday. And then I want you to act...I want you to act as if your house is on fire. Because it is."
