Thanks Karol!

Such a majestic animal, & you captured it perfectly, Awesome work!

A bear slaughtered a male who was hiking with his spouse in Yellowstone Wednesday. The bear will not be trapped or murdered, according to park authorities. The death has brought on concerns about tourism in the park. The proof is here: Man killed by grizzly bear in Yellowstone Park

Yea!! Congrats Tim!! Perfection!

Wow ! This is great ...but way too close for me. Congratulations on another sale, Tim !

You always get amazing wildlife pictures Tim and this one is a fantastic close up!. Congratulations on your sale... so well deserved!!

Congratulations on your sale, great photo! Good thing she wasn't considering adding you to her store of food for winter.

Great image, colors, comp, lighting, congrats on your sale!!

Amazing! Congrats.

Congratulations on your sale!

Congratulations on your sale too!

Wonderful capture Tim!

Is it a female Tim? The Grizzly is so magnificent and the coat is very beautiful :)))) Fabulous work, I love your portfolio :)))

Tim, this grizzly presented you with the classic bear portrait. I admire the work photographers must go through to capture real wildlife photos in the field, and your captures are awsome. I'm glad this big "teddy" was just browsing for berries and did not consider that Canon 500mm to be a threat!

Fantastic close up of a Grizzly Tim. I love how you can see his eyes!

Tim, thanks again for your comments on my pictures. You complimented on my eye for urban landscapes, a true compliment for someone from Kansas. I suspect you'd do well in urban environments, if you had any close. I would have commented on this one earlier if I wasn't running away. Wow and I don't care how long the lens is!!!

I shoot digitial Canon bodies and an assortment of Canon lens. This image was taken with a 1D MII and a 500/4 IS lens.

Oh, one more thing....what kind of camera do you use?

Tim, this is absolutely AMAZING!!! How in the world did you ever get this ?!? BEAUTIFUL :)

As a child, we went to Yellowstone National Park several times each summer. One of the most fun activities was "Counting the bear". Sometimes we would see 100 or more on the trip around the loop. Mostly, the bear were smaller brown or black bear but once in a great while a grizzly would be visible. Fabulous photography! We can clearly see this bear has a personality and seems to be on a leisurely stroll.
