Artist's Description

Macro photograph of a stalactite inside a cave in the Lava Beds National Monument, Northern California. Lava Beds National Monument is a land of turmoil, both geological and historical. About Marnie Patchett

I'm an artist & photographer from Northern California, I grew up in the beauty of the Country but never really realized it and appreciated it until I started capturing it through the lens. My favorite type of photography is the long exposure photography, black and white, light trails and light painting. Having an image in my head and figuring out how to make it happen. I had no idea the possibilities of photography until I took it up a few years back, it's limitless. Learning and creating is a passion and an addiction.
