Grreat In My Own Way is a digital image created several years ago as the first in a series of four puzzle piece designs. These were originally created as ideas for tee shirt designs for The Greater Hartford Walk Now For Autism, which is held every June. The inspiration behind these images is my daughter, who is on the spectrum.

For each piece sold of Grreat In My Own Way and Glorious In My Own Way, a third of the proceeds with be donated to Autism Speaks.

These images would work well as personalized cards for fundraising, and are also a wonderful way to raise awareness!

Wendy Middlemass is a New England artist located in the northwest Litchfield Hills of Connecticut. Wendy began drawing as a small child from the time she could grasp a pencil. She also began taking lessons early on in Watercolor at age 6, and later lessons also in Oils. Wendy studied at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, and then some ten plus years later she pursued a career in commercial art at The Connecticut Institute of Art in Greenwich, CT, where she graduated first in her class. Some notable artists she has studied under include Steve Smulka, Dmitri Wright, William Krasnoborski and Herb Greene. Her paintings have been shown in galleries and shows throughout the New England region and currently in six online galleries.
