Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

I feel fortunate to have spent most of my childhood growing up on Siesta Key when it was basically uninhabited and a profusion of native vegetation and wildlife, such as sugar cane, guavas and mulberries and fiddler crabs were abundant. This luxury was due to fleeing England with my mother to her mothers home on the last boat before World War II. Although, I come from a history of art talent. My grandfather designed the Federal Building here in Sarasota, as well as the Crosley House and my mother went to The Ringling School of Art in 1927 and was a local china painter, etc. The extent of my early art training was under the direction of my High School Art Teacher, Margaret Clement.
