Beautifully expressed rendition of the Shrine of the Bab. The frame and matting showcase the print. We have it prominently on our living room wall with other sacred pictures.

I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.
About Kabir Ghafari
Kabir Ghafari was born in Kabul, Afghanistan in 1963. His father was a self-taught photo journalist whose influence allowed Kabir to explore in the realm of photography at a very young age. After the invasion of Afghanistan by the Russians in 1979, his family was forced to flee to the west and settled in Washington DC. He continued his exploration of the arts and received a bachelor of arts in Graphic Design from Shepherd University. He furthered his education and received a masters of arts in Education from Claremont Graduate University. He currently lives in Los Angeles and teaches art at a public school.
