About Ellen Lefrak
Ellen was born in Yonkers, Ny and emmigrated to Israel in 1962. She has been living in Jerusalem ever since. Sice the early eighties she started making longer and longer visits to Ireland and since 2002 has been dividing her time between Jeruslam and Westport. Ellen is a graduate of the fine arts dept. of the Bezalel Academy of Fine Art in Jerusalem (1976) and the Archaeology dept. of the Hebrew Univ. in Jeuralem (1968). Since 1976 she has been working steadily as an artist, specializing in oils, silk screen pastel and photography. Over the years she has had over 25 one- womanshows and paricipated in many group shows. Has also taught art privately and in various institutions.
