Description
Starting on the first day of July 2014, my photographic efforts will be focused on Downtown Houston and its architecture. In the middle of all the construction chaos along most of the streets, my aim is to find architectural gems that have stood the test of time and developers eager to erect cookie-cutter buildings. "Guarded" by the JP Morgan Chase Tower, I'd like to present to you the old and recently restored Harris County Courthouse, whose original construction ended in 1910. The recent renovations have restored public spaces and the exterior, and has cost the county $60 million to do so! Thanks for looking. If acquiring, please contact me to obtain a signed artist statement that doubles as a certificate of authenticity.
